DGFT online filing: check the procedure, not a blanket paper ban
Use the instructions for the particular DGFT service. A universal ban on paper and email from 1 June 2026 could not be verified.
DGFT provides online services, but that is not evidence that every paper or email procedure ceased on one date. Use the current instructions for the authorisation, amendment or closure you actually need.
A specific reform announced in August 2026 removed physical duty-payment challans for certain EODC applications under Advance Authorisation and EPCG. That narrower measure should not be described as a ban on all physical submissions.
Before a deadline, check the relevant service guidance, registered contact details, authorised signatory and required authentication method. Keep the application acknowledgement and supporting document set. If the portal is unavailable, ask the Regional Authority about the applicable support procedure; do not assume that emailing a file completes an application.
